C Murder Wants To Postpone His Trial
Master P, I mean, P Miller's brother, Cory 'C Murder' Miller wants his murder trial postponed because he fears the judge has it in for him because it's an election year. C Murder is charged with the January 12, 2002 shooting death of 16-year-old Steve Thomas inside of Club Platinum, a defunct nightclub in Louisiana. C's judge is under fire because she granted Murder a new trial, after his 2003 conviction, when it was revealed that witnesses in the case had their criminal records expunged in exchange for their testimony. Her opponent is using the new trial ruling to accuse the incumbent of being soft on crime. Jury selection was to have started yesterday.

The King Kids Are Fighting Again
First Bernice and Martin III sued their brother Dexter claiming he was mishandling funds from the King Center. Then Dexter sued Martin III claiming his brother had used The King Center without permission to meet with then presidential candidate John Kerry. Now Dexter's filed a suit against Bernice because he wants their mother's personal papers for a 1.4 million dollar book deal he cut, but Bernice is refusing to hand them over, insisting her mother wanted no part of any book deal. Bernice and Martin issued this statement: "We are saddened that we are forced to make public statements about family matters that should be handled privately. However, as our father taught us, we must respond to unjust criticism ... Our stand against the publication of the memoirs of our mother ... is not merely a family feud but rather our ongoing attempt to protect and maintain the integrity of our mother's legacy. Although she is no longer here to speak for herself, it is important that the integrity and validity of her voice be reflected."
