You Know Times Are Tight
When Mary J. Blige and Robyn Thick have to resort to a fire sale to get rid of tickets for their concert at the Lakewood Amphitheatre in Atlanta this Sunday. From 7 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. tonight, concert fans can purchase half-price tickets to the show in the 200-level of the venue. Tickets go back to full price at midnight.
Janet Jackson's Back On Track
“Janet, who has been under her doctor’s care and recuperating over the last week, is excited about getting back on the road and again being able to share with her fans what she feels is one of her best stage shows ever,” Live Nation said in a statement.
Performances will resume this weekend with a Saturday concert in Uncasville, Conn.

Randy Denies Vertigo Claims
Randy Jackson took to his myspace page to dispel the rumor that he said his sister Janet was canceling shows because of Vertigo. The message reads: "Randy has not and will not speak publicly about the health of his sister, or her reasons for canceling any of her shows. This "interview" never happened."
Lil Kim Getting Sued
Lil Kim is being sued for $2.5 million for breach of contract by her new record label. Brookland Media says Kim signed on with them, then tried to back out of the deal by refusing to perform unless they made some changes to her contract AFTER they'd already sunk $500,000.00 into her project. Good luck with that Kim. Next time, read before you sign.

Wendy Williams says she is in possession of a sex tape showing a married rapper's wife that does not include the rapper and she's willing to sell it to the highest bidder. Ok, shouldn't be too hard to figure this out. How many rappers are married? Jay Z and Beyonce, Nas and Kelis, Snoop and Shante and Ice T and CoCo. However, Wendy does mention in part two of the segment there are no kids involved and that mainstream media does not care, so that leaves only Nas and Kelis or Ice T and Coco.

R Kelly Wins Lawsuit
R. Kelly has won a $3.4 million award against his former tour promoter Georgia-based Rowe Entertainment. Kell's company claimed that Rowe Entertainment and owner Leonard Rowe failed to pay him in full for shows scheduled for late last year and early 2008.
Ne-Yo also successfully sued Rowe Entertainment for $700,320 for kicking him off the R Kelly Double Up tour.
