D Wade Suing Restaurant Partners
Miami Heat B-baller Dwyane Wade shut down his sports grill chain 'D Wade's' before it even started and now he's suing his partners. Two of his Florida based clubs closed within weeks and one on Aventura Boulevard in Miami closed before it even opened. D Wade claims his partners ran the restaurants into the ground while his ex-partner's counter suits claim Wade didn’t bother to show up for any of the parties promoting the club and blame him for the epic fail, plus they want upwards of $25 million dollars for their trouble.
LisaRaye Benefit A Bust
LisaRaye used her birthday party in LA to hold a benefit for Turks and Caicos Islanders who were devastated by hurricane Ike [weird, right?]. Anyway, according to one of my favorite message boards, almost none of the invited celebrity guests showed up except for MC Lyte and Spinderella, who shared dj-ing duties, and John Salley and Kim Porter. Sanaa Lathan, Vivica Fox, Elise Neal, Malik Yoba, Wendy Raquel Robinson, Tamala Jones and the rest of the advertised celeb guests bailed on her. And to add insult to injury, on top of the $20.00 entry fee, LisaRaye passed around a bucket to drum up more cash and only came up with $300.00 more dollars.
What T.I.'s Baby Mama Wanted
We all know T.I. was paying the mother of his two oldest children $2000.00 a month, plus tuition, medical insurance and other expenses and that she wanted more dough so she took him to court and was awarded an extra $1000.00. Well that ain't even close to what she wanted. They say Lashon Dixon was asking the court to increase her child support payments to $10,000.00 a month.
Luda's House Fire
Atlanta rapper Ludacris' pool house burned down last night. Luda was not home at the time of the blaze and no one was hurt.
Fulton County Fire Department spokesman Gregory Chambers says a relative was in the basement of the main residence when the fire started and was not injured. Chambers says the fire was put out within 30 minutes but destroyed the pool house, which he says is larger than most homes.

Judge Orders T.I. To Pay Up
T.I.'s original baby mama, LaShon Dixon, won a small victory in family court the other day, and I do mean small. T.I was ordered to give the mother of his two oldest sons, 8 year old Messiah and 7 year old Domani, an additional $1000.00 a month on top of the $2,000.00 she already gets. Tip was also ordered to continue to pay for the boys private school, uninsured medical bills and expenses related to the children's extracurricular activities.
Did You Know D Wade Had A Sports Bar Chain?
Well don't bother committing it to memory. It shut down after only a few months. The one in Boca Raton closed 2 months after it opened and the one in Fort Lauderdale closed after 2 ½ months and plans to open one in Chicago have been scrapped.
$3 Million Lawsuit Against Diddy Dismissed
Hedge fund manager Maria Dominguez went one of P Diddy's White Parties wearing a mermaid costume with starfish pasties on her boobs and got mad at Puff after pictures showed up in Vibe Magazine, so she sued for invasion-of-privacy claiming the pictures caused her "mental strain and distress, disturbance of peace of mind, irreparable harm to her reputation, to her person and forced her to lose certain business opportunities." No Dice, Maria.
The judge threw the case out saying Maria couldn't expect privacy once she took off her top because, "Sean Combs and his renowned annual White Party are subjects of tremendous public interest, attracting the steady attention of the public and many news organizations."
"When you come to a party and you dress provocatively and you see a swarm of photographers there, you would know what you're getting yourself into," a lawyer for Puff argued.

Big Boi Joins Grand Hustle
Atlanta rapper Big Boi, recently signed to T.I.'s Grand Hustle management. The only problem is, according to SOHH, he didn't bother to tell his old manager. Ouch.
Goldman's Lawyer To Testify In OJ Case
Prosecutors got the green light last night to bring Fred Goldman's lawyer to the witness stand - outraging O.J. Simpson's lawyers.
The purpose would be to show how the disgraced grid great allegedly hides money from the grieving dad, whose son, Ron, was slain with O.J.'s ex Nicole Brown Simpson on 1994.
Judge Jackie Glass ruled that the lawyer, David Cook, can testify this morning about his efforts to recover more than $33 million Simpson owes on a wrongful-death verdict.
"He was hiding property from the Goldman estate," DA David Roger told the judge. "It [Cook's testimony] establishes his motive, his common scheme of plan and his intent."
