Despite having the biggest media push of any of Matthew Knowles' stable of artists, outside Beyonce, Solange Knowles' sophomore effort, Sol-Angel and the Hadley Street Dreams, scanned a disappointing 30,276 units it's first week out, landing your girl at number 14 on the charts. In contrast, Lil Wayne, currently holding on to the number 8 spot, sold 55,139 copies last week, more than a month after his cd's release. The Game sits at number 1 with LAX scanning 222,844 copies. Suge Knight Arrested For Beating His Girlfriend

Suge got arrested for beating the shit out of his girlfriend in Las Vegas yesterday. Suge and his girl were driving near the strip when, for unknown reasons, Suge slugged the chick several times in the head. The girl grabbed the steering wheel and forced the car onto the curb where she jumped out and ran. Didn't do her any good because Suge caught her ass and continued to beat her. Passersby called the cops who showed up just in time to catch Suge kicking the chick in the head. Suge, who was wielding a knife and had Ecstasy and hydrocodone in his possession was arrested and hit with assault and drug charges. He later posted $19,000 bail and was released.

Mos Def does not like paparazzi or random people taking his picture. So Mos was in Las Vegas for the MAGIC fashion convention when some random dude, who didn't know Mos' aversion to snapshots, tried to get a picture of the camera-shy rapper/actor. They say your boy went off, screaming: "Everybody knows I don't take pictures!" and snatched dude's camera off his neck, cutting the shooters hand in the process. Mos is now under investigation for larceny and you can bet a lawsuit is not far behind.

OJ Simpson and his oldest daughter Arnell got into a knock down drag out fight in Florida this past Sunday. They say it all started with OJ's girlfriend, Nicole Brown-Simpson look-a-like, Christine Prody. Arnell and Christine were arguing about Chris being a drunk bitch when OJ stepped in and took Chris's side.
