They say Kelly Rowland recently spent $360,000.00 on a night out with friends. Your girl picked up the tab for an open bar blow out in St. Tropez on August 8th. Kelly and 30 of her thirsty friends sucked up 50 magnums of $6,000 Dom Perignon, 24 bottles of Patron for $1,000 each and 10 bottles of $4,000 Louis XIII cognac.
This one jeweler out of New Orleans was suing Lil Wayne because back in October of '07 Weezy copped a $138,000 diamond ring and a $32,000 gold-and-diamond necklace, but only paid the man $24,000.00 for the ice. See, Weezy and the jeweler had worked out a payment plan, but Weezy didn't stick to it so the dude sued his ass. Anyway, this past Tuesday [Aug 12] they reached an agreement and Weezy is supposed return the $138,000 ring and pay off the rest of balance sometime this week. And speaking of Weezy paying off his balances, they say he got a federal tax lien filed against him for owing $977,840.81 in income tax.

The United Football League will run from August to November and directly compete with the NFL. There are only six teams, L.A., San Francisco, Las Vegas, Orlando, New York and Hartford. League commissioner Michael Huyghue said that they are "98 percent" sure that Vick will play in the UFL for their first season which starts around the same time Vick is expected to be released in 2009.
After spending almost 2 weeks in the hoosgow, Nikki Blonski's dad was released from a Turks and Caicos jail after posting $3,000.00 of the $75,000.00 bond he received after he got arrested for physically attacking America's Next Top Model contestant Bianca Golden's mother, in a beating that left her with a cracked skull and broken nose. Mr. Blonski has not been given back his passport and must remain on the island until his August 19 trial. Since the airport melee that got both Bianca and Nikki arrested, several stories about the incident have come out. The Blonski lawyers claim to have 13 independent witnesses who say the Golden's started the fight after Nikki told Bianca she was saving several seats for her parents. The witnesses are expected to testify that Bianca pointed her finger in Nikki's face, called her a white bxtch and punched her in the head several times before Nikki's dad and Bianca's mom got into the row. Unfortunately this video may support the Blonski's claims.
The other day rumors started floating that Jay was selling his Las Vegas 40/40 Club. Today's rumors say Jay is in talks to sell a 50% stake in the 40 to the Las Vegas Sands Corp. - owners of the Venetian and the Palazzo, for 44 million. They say if the deal goes through, the 40/40 will become Vegas' largest sports booking operation, allowing folks to gamble both at the tables and on games. The Sands will also have the right to open 40/40 clubs in London and across Europe.
Dirty details from the ongoing abuse case at Oprah Winfrey's South African girls school are leaking out. Want to read 'em? Here it go: They say the dorm mother accused of abusing those girls asked at least two girls to become lesbians, touched intimate parts of their bodies through their clothes, asked them to kiss her like they 'kiss their boyfriends ', climbed into bed with them, kissed them on their necks and made them squeeze her breasts. She was also violent. One girl claimed the matron shoved her against the wall and pressed her thumbs against her windpipe.
Bill Cosby's daughter Evin opened a tres chic boutique in Tribeca the other day and let slip this interesting bon mot: "I always went to private schools - Bank Street elementary, Columbia Prep - so I was surrounded by people like me. I finally got around to reading that Superhead interview in Sister 2 Sister where she talked about her break up with Darius "Eddie Winslow" McCrary. Don't judge me. Anyway, she told S2S that she had to take her son out of school early because emotionally, he could not deal with her and Eddie's break-up. She said the child was crying uncontrollably, vomiting on himself and basically in a trance like state. She also said when she went to see Darius, that time he tried to run her over, she was only trying to get him to come visit her child, a nine year old boy she constantly referred to as the 'the baby'. As in, I was just trying to get Darius to come see about 'the baby'.
