I was reading a NY Daily News article about Kingdome 2007. They were all about how Damon Dash's Pro Keds was sponsoring it and how Diddy's Bad Boy label and DMX's Ruff Riders and Jim Jones' DipSet would all be involved. I was like wow. Jim Jones' Dip Set? Even the regular news know Cam lost. Oh Well. Anyway, here's a promo spot from last year's Kingdome.

No Eyewitness No Case

The prosecutor investigating Michael Vick's dog fighting case said he still doesn't have solid evidence linking Michael to any dogfights.

The prosecutor says while it does appear that dog fighting did take place on the property, it could take several weeks to determine whether charges would be filed and against whom. At least six people could be involved and evidence is still being reviewed to determine whether Michael will be among those charged.

Kimora and Russell Simmons Suing In Touch Magazine

According to The Smoking Gun, Russell and Kimora filed a libel suit against In Touch magazine. The problem is, when they served In Touch with the papers, the document failed to explain how the magazine had libeled them. They're suing for $250,000.00, but nobody knows why. Their lawyer refused to answer any questions about the lawsuit.

Lil Wayne and Trina Share a Moment on Stage

Last night Lil Wayne was performing at “Miami Live” doing his song “Prostitute”, that goes , “I wouldn’t care if you were a prostitute as long as you were true to me" or something like that. Anyway, around the second verse, Wayne starts directing his attention to Trina, who was in the audience, pointing at her and singing to her. Then he called her up to the stage. Trina started doing her song “Here We Go”, but she was so into Wayne that she forgot the words. She just stopped rapping and they stared into each other’s eyes for like 30 seconds, then started hugging, and kissing and crying saying, “I miss you, I love you! The packed house went wild, screaming and throwing champagne in the air. Wayne left the club after that and a few minutes later Trina left too. Now I’m not saying they back together, but they definitely boned last night.

A Couple Tried to Rip Off Ashanti And Nia Long

A couple charged with stealing the identity of a pop star and an actress pleaded not guilty this morning in federal court. Shameika Drain Curry and Charles B. Curry Jr., both 28, are charged with identity theft, mail fraud and bank fraud.

The Currys are charged with defrauding several people, including Grammy Award-winning hip-hop performer Ashanti and actress Nia Long, to illegally purchase cars, obtain credit cards and write bogus checks.

The facts are a little fuzzy on this one, but according to Atlanta radio, Young Jeezy, his sister, and his bodyguard all got arrested last night in front of Strokers strip club for disorderly conduct.

Beyonce & Jay Z Blow Off Kelly Rowland

Everybody and they mama is in Cannes this week, Naomi Campbell, Kerry Washington, Don Cheadle, Kimora Lee and her new boyfriend Dijimon Hounsou, and Jay Z and Beyonce, just to name a few. Anyway, Kelly Rowland was performing at Naomi Campbell's birthday party and they say Jay and B showed up, but left before Kelly even hit that stage. How rude!

Foxy Gotta Submit Her DNA

Rapper Foxy Brown must submit a DNA sample to Broward County prosecutors, in an attempt to determine if she spit on the owner of a Pembroke Pines, FL beauty supply store. Foxy turned down a plea deal on May 18 and will stand trial on Sept. 24. If convicted of the charges, she faces up to a year in prison.

Jay Z Stiffing The Waiters At The 40/40

Well maybe he is and maybe he isn't.

Lawyers for Celeste Williams, a former waitress at 40/40, accused the club of keeping a cut of workers' tips and "willfully failing and refusing to pay them at the legally required minimum wage" and overtime since the popular nightspot opened in 2003.

Jay and nem say the chick only worked at the 40 for 4 days in December 2005, so we'll just have to wait and see how this one plays out.

Eve Pleads Not Guilty

Even though she ran her Maserati up on the curb and her blood alcohol level registered above .08 at the scene of the crash, E-V-E pleaded not guilty to misdemeanor drunken driving charges. If convicted Eve faces up to six months in jail and a $1000.00 fine. She is expected back in court June 28. Did you know her real name is Jihan Jeffers?

You In Trouble Now, Justin

Yesterday when NY Jet Justin Miller was accused of socking a girl in the face, we didn't know who the girl was. Well we do now. Her name is Kirstin Jarvis and she's an assistant to Barack Obama's chief of staff. This is what Kirstin's friend Lauren Turner told the NY Daily News:

Jarvis, Turner and some other friends had just left Aer Lounge on W. 13th St. about 4:30 a.m. Sunday when they ran into Miller and two of his buddies on W. 16th St., just outside the Maritime Hotel. Miller, 23, immediately started hitting on one of Jarvis' married friends.
"He was drunk. His friends were trying to make him stop talking. ... He started to make rude comments to everybody," Turner said. "We didn't even know who he was."
When Jarvis' friends tried to deflect Miller, the Pro Bowl kick returner insulted one of her male friends and then took a swing, missing him, according to Turner.
"He stopped and then looked at Kristen. Everybody was just going off at the mouth. They were saying, 'You won't hit us! ... Why are you trying to start something?'" Turner recalled. "Then he hit Kristen in the face."
Jarvis crumpled to the ground.
"She's a tall girl, but he was bigger and he's a man. He has a lot more strength," she said.
Miller - named the league's fastest man at the Pro Bowl in February - took off around the corner, cops said.
Several of Jarvis' friends chased after him and flagged down a cop, who caught Miller hiding in a nearby parking garage, Turner said.
Miller was arraigned the same day on a third-degree assault charge. He later issued an apology for the incident.
"He apologized to the NFL and his fans, but he did not apologize to Kristen," Turner said. "He was mad ... because he couldn't get somebody's number that night and it's a shame that that had to happen."

They say Kirstin has a dent in her chin and has trouble walking.

Busta Rhymes Settles Out Of Court

I guess Busta Rhymes is tired of going back and forth to court, cause he settled a $100,000.00 battery suit filed against him by a fan who says Busta kicked his butt when he asked for an autograph. The guy actually filed back in 2005 but Busta never responed because they sent the summons to his baby mama's house. Do a search on Rhymes With Snitch about Busta and his baby mama. They do not get along. She says Busta is the reason she's a lesbian! Anyway the amout of the settlement was not disclosed.
