Sean Kingston Taken Into Custody After Failing to Post Bond

Last month rapper Sean Kingston and his mother, Janice Turner, were found guilty on fraud charges in Miami [click here if you missed that].

Now Sean has been remanded into custody after failing to come up with his bond...

Singer Sean Kingston, who was found guilty last month of all five charges related to a federal wire fraud case, is back behind bars after failing to satisfy a $100,000 cash bond, records show.
Local 10 News learned Tuesday morning that Kingston, who was convicted in the case along with his mother, is being held at the Federal Detention Center in Miami.
The 35-year-old, whose real name is Kisean Anderson, kept clasping his hands and crying on March 28 as jurors in Fort Lauderdale read their decision to convict him and his mother, Janice Turner, 62, of wire fraud and conspiracy to commit wire fraud.
The case involved a $1 million scheme involving luxury goods.
Turner was remanded into federal custody last month and was taken away by U.S. Marshals as Kingston cried and told them, “Protect my mother.”
Turner was deemed a flight risk, in part, the judge said, because of her testimony on the stand.
Kingston chose not to testify on his own behalf.
During the trial, prosecutors presented several alleged victims who claimed they were all swindled out of high-dollar luxury goods, including things like a colossal TV, a bulletproof Cadillac Escalade and even hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of watches from jewelers.
All items were seized in a raid on Kingston’s Southwest Ranches home.
The judge said Turner showed throughout the trial that she was the “fixer, the nerve center” and in control of the fraud scheme. She also has similar past convictions on her record.

It’s crazy how he knew this was coming and didn’t have enough sense to see the sh it he stole. He should’ve at least pawned it to have some liquid cash just in case.
