Bi-polar is such a terrible terrible mental illness. They get such a major rush of adrenaline high and think they have everything figured out. They want to believe that that invincible feeling is real when it's just a flurry of feel good emotions that eventually leaves them drained and deranged. They are suspicious of doctors and hate to be treated.
