Retired NFL player Adrian Peterson arrested for driving while intoxicated in Minnesota...
From KARE11
Former Viking great Adrian Peterson faces yet another legal hurdle after being arrested early Friday morning for allegedly driving while intoxicated.
Hennepin County records confirm that the 40-year-old Peterson was arrested for fourth-degree DWI and booked into jail at 5:15 a.m. He was released just over two hours later at 7:30 a.m. The Minnesota State Patrol says a trooper stopped Peterson's Audi Q5 after clocking it doing 83 mph in a 55 mph zone around 3:20 a.m. on southbound Highway 77 near 66th Street in Richfield.
Peterson is free on $4,000 bond. His next court appearance is set for May 9.
This arrest is just the latest in a string of legal woes for the former MVP. Peterson was charged with felony child abuse for using a switch to discipline his children in 2014, and most recently, he has gone to court on a number of issues, including accusations of failing to pay child support and refusing to turn over assets to pay off a debt reported at $12 million.
Peterson was drafted by the Vikings out of Oklahoma in 2007 and played 10 years in Minnesota. After being released for salary cap issues, he bounced around the NFL for a handful of years, carrying the ball for New Orleans, Arizona, Washington, Detroit, Tennessee and Seattle.

He's lucky to be alive. That's another state that will kill a Black Man for nothing.
That’s the face that deer had in my head lights before I hit it the other day.
