Talk about a Holmes run: CBS has handed Watson an early Season 2 renewal.
The freshman procedural’s pickup — announced Wednesday — comes exactly two months after the Morris Chestnut-led series premiered.
Debuting immediately following January’s AFC Championship game, Watson‘s first episode has gone on to amass 18.7 million multi-platform viewers, making it CBS’ most-watched scripted episode of the 2024-25 TV season.
Season to date, Watson is averaging 6.8 million total viewers (with Live+7 playback), ranking No. 7 out of the 14 dramas that CBS has aired this TV season — trailing Tracker aka broadcast-TV’s most-watched entertainment program, the freshman hit Matlock, FBI, the cancelled Blue Bloods, NCIS and Elsbeth.

I haven't watched but I'm happy for his success. He deserves it.
Has anyone watched this? Is it any good?
It is good. Sometimes it seems to move a little too fast, but it is good.
^thanks. I'll check it out.
Don't know if it's any good but he deserves it.
I watched the first episode. It was cool at first and then the Agenda set in. They made his beautiful ex-wife (character) gay. I'm so sick of these writers and producers saying eff to Black love. I turned it off and never went back.
Saw a couple episodes and it was alright
I thought it was kinda slow so I stopped after 1st episode. Happy for him tho
I stopped after first episode too but might check it out again. I just discovered Will Trent on ABC and I love it.
Yeah Will Trent show is good
Why is calling his ex-wife gay saying fugg to Black love? It's just a plot point.
This show is GOOD!!!!
Will continue to support this ❤️
@5:44 PM, If I have it has to be explained then you clearly don't get the bigger picture, so keep it moving.
