I thought PReP was for if you have HIV , yet with your regular meds...it's undetectable? Am I wrong?

Married or unmarried
Bcus people will never be honest

PReP is to keep from getting HIV.

Prep is for ppl that are negative. It keeps you from getting HIV. She is a simp for having raw sex with men she is dating. Is she having sex with bi sexu@l men?
She really has a bad picker for dating.

Didn't watch, but nobody is ever forced to share a man.

I tell my married friends, if your husband is not beating you, using you or abusing you think long and hard about getting a divorce. What your forever single friends don't tell you is that chances are you'll end up in a perpetual cycle of meet, greet, date, he cheats. Kick him to the curb, rinse and repeat. This could go on for years. I'm not saying be unhappy. Sometimes it's better to find happiness in your marriage. The first two steps are fun, though.

@6:45pm. Prep is not exclusive to gay and bisexual men. HIV has no sexul preference.

HIV has no sexual preference but it's passed much easier with anal sex. The HIV virus leaks through the thin rectal lining like a sieve.

Good for Tamar for doing what she feels to protect herself, but I thought most ppl who date multiple ppl would use condoms. For birth control & to protect against stds. Guess I'm out of the loop. An unwanted pregnancy at a young age taught me that. Glad that the current hiv, etc. meds are affective & helping ppl. Education is key.

@8:12PM. Yes true, and gat and straight couples engage in anal sex.

Pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) is HIV medicine taken to reduce the chances of getting HIV infection. PrEP is used by people who do not have HIV but are at high risk of being exposed to HIV through sex or injection drug use. She probably should not take it. Just be careful and test your partner. Abstinence!

I agree 2:53AM, & some side effects of Prep (short term) may include headaches, nausea, diarrhea, dizziness, fatigue. Long term side effects may include liver problems, kidney problems, & decrease in bone density. Do your homework ppl. Also be wary of (some) medications that you see celebrities promoting. Ozempic & the j @ b for example.

@7:13
Reading is fundamental. No where in 6:45 statement was a gender or sexu@l preference given. You just had to piggy back on a comment because you don't have your own. Bloop

7:13's comment is informative tho

9:25 AM, I guess your reading clearly ISN'T fundamental either because 6:45 specifically mentioned bi-sexual which is OBVIOUSLY a gender or sexual preference. So how about you not piggyback on someone else's comment either until you learn how to read.

^ What matters is anyone can take Prep to avoid catching HIV. Even you. Did you take yours today? Or do you already have the Monster.

Now you wanna backtrack and avoid the original subject. Say no more. You've proven yourself to be as dumb as I thought.

Thanks to everyone for posting, keep it up I'm learning a lot. Will continue to educated myself about this. Some more food for thought; keep in mind that Prep won't prevent other stds/infections. Also that hiv can also be spread through dirty needles not just s3x. There's a lot of promising trials/treatments that are available now so it would be good to research them. There is hope.

^ will continue to educate I mean.
