Got really bad reviews for those $1000 tickets.
They say it's like a bare and watered down version. I guess people are payin' to see Denzel and Jake.
Maybe Denzel's earnings will go to the "Building Fund" for his church.
I just saw Kandi, Todd and their "alleged" wife pics
Of them in Dubai
I guess they are doing their "alleged" rituals
Lol
eta: No wonder Denzel was saying
Those outlandish comments
To draw attention and publicity for his play
The Yt media is not feeling DW any more. I wonder why? We know Denzel can play the he'll out of SP.
Denzel said he was going into retirement.
They say one of Denzels daughters is in another play in NYC (Wine in the Wilderness) and it's better than Othello.
Who produced Othello on Broadway?
"Brian Anthony Moreland, with Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker as co-producers, along with a large group of other co-producers"
Denzel was an alcoholic for a long time and he never liked being a "movie star". He can be surly in interviews.
Broadway Show Producer Kandi Burris.
You go gurl.
I’m going
I thought DW retired.
I thought he was a preacher.
Wine in the Wilderness I saw that play last week. It was good. It's off off Broadway. I didn't know she was in the play or an actress.
Wine in the Wilderness was written in the 60's by brilliant Black playwright Alice Childress, sister of Alvin Childress who played Amos on Amos & Andy. Know your Black cultural history and if you're near New York, buy a ticket for 1/20 of the price of a ticket to Othello.
I love all y'all. That's all. Carry on.
Purpose is another all-Black cast. It's good also.
I didn't know Denzel had a drinking problem. So glad hes tackling it. And it's wonderful how everybody came out to support him on Broadway again. He paved the way for a lot of them and it's good they dug iin their pockets for him. I"m here for this and all Black art.
