Love this but please let’s refer to children as children they are not young women! Yes words make difference and this is why this accomplishment is so great because they are two black girls! Not women ! Just had a back and forth with many grown men on how 15,16,17, is not an adult they are children teenagers!

They're HS Seniors which makes them women

Let's celebrate as a community and not get technical. Every time someone mentions the Pythagorean theorem, I think about that Night School movie where Kevin Hart's character had the right answer but the wrong execution. In a world where we're the least seen in STEM circles and most people don't know PEMDAS when doing complex math problems, this is saying a lot. These young women will go far in life.

i love this! congratulaitons to Calcea & Ne'Kiya! i am so proud of my young sisters! get 'em girls! already making history! i am so excited to see/read about their next accomplishment.

given DUMP don't destroy the earth & completely disband NASA before they get to grow up, these girls may become the UNHIDDEN figures of their time.

Young women or men are aged 20 and up these have the word TEEN behind their age making them children teenagers!!! Each age group have their own classification like muddled age you wouldn’t call a 21 year old middle age so stop calling little girls young women! This type of attitude and mentality is the reason why the men in the community Feel it is OK to engage in relationships that are inappropriate with these young girls. They are not young women they are girls teenagers
