And he did not make the big bucks of today off his invention. Yt's took his invention and made it their own.

And today the Frito-Lay empire is worth more than $13 billioin dollars. A YT person like Herman Lay could sell the chips in the south out of his car in the 1920s, but they would have strung up a brotha just for thinking about doing it.

I don't eat chips often, but I"ll think of George Crum the next time I have some.

Cool facts. I don't eat them as much anymore, either, but I love me some Pringles.

Brother Crum look like he made it to the bag to me. He dressed clean af in this pic and he opened his own restaurant.

I GAVE UP BUYING/EATING POTATO CHIPS FOR HEALTH REASONS, BUT 20 YEARS AGO I WAS A POTATO CHIP EATIN', SPRITE/COCA COLA SWIGGIN', HOSTESS CUPCAKE (ONLY THE YELLOW/ORANGE ONES) EATIN' UNHEALTHY EATING MESS!
THANK YOU MR. GEORGE CRUM FOR INVENTING ONE OF MY FORMER FAVORITE SNACKS, & SNITCH FOR CONTINUING THESE BLACK HISTORY FACTS!

I don't like Pringles! They just don't do it for me. I like Better Made chips (Whatupdoe!) with a sandwich.

I love using him to teach my students about the origin of the potato chip. I’m still a chip eater today. Can’t have a sandwich without a bag and Pepsi. That’s my guilty pleasure meal.
