I've heard about Dr. Ross-Lee's accomplishments. She was not only the first African-American woman but the first woman to become dean of a U.S. medical school. Great women come from Detroit.
i never knew this! how amazing! their parents must have been/be sooo proud! i used to want to become an osteopath. then i woke up. (i hate bodily fluids... and people, tbh. LOL)
