Angie Stone's Family Announces Registration for Memorial Services

Just have a closed memorial. Are they going to ask for a donation at the door? They sound grimy.

By signing up to attend this private Homegoing Service, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

No Phones Allowed – To maintain the privacy and sanctity of this service, all guests are strictly prohibited from using phones or recording devices during the event. If any footage, images, or other digital property from the funeral surfaces on any media outlet, we maintain the right to take legal action against the responsible party.

Assumption of Risk – The estate and its affiliates are not responsible for any accidents, injuries, losses, or damages that may occur before, during, or after the service.

Liability Waiver – By attending, you waive any right to bring claims, lawsuits, or legal action against the estate, its representatives, or any related parties for any incidents occurring at the event.

It's unfortunate that this is the climate we are living in, so I can see why they are handling it this way.

On the other hand, it's also the climate that @7:45 mentioned about donations at the door. I surely hope this will not be the case.

I attended a service for a regular person and it wasn’t that different.
