Wendy Williams Signs Affidavit to End Guardianship

This week former daytime talk show host Wendy Williams admitted her son, Kevin Hunter Jr.'s, lavish spending triggered her controversial court ordered guardianship [click here if you missed that].

Now Wendy is aggressively working to be released...

From TMZ
Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ ... Wendy signed an affidavit Wednesday afternoon asking the judge to set her free. According to the affidavit, Wendy says she has "regained capacity" to function without a guardian.
Wendy also says in the affidavit ... she does NOT have Frontotemporal Dementia, despite what doctors had claimed. In our Tubi documentary -- "TMZ Presents: Saving Wendy" -- we explain Frontotemporal Dementia never gets better, and anyone who watches knows ... Wendy is much better than she was 2 years ago.
Our sources say Wendy will be re-evaluated by a doctor next Tuesday ... and this doctor was selected by the attorney Wendy has hired to end the guardianship. We're also told the following day, her lawyer will file an Emergency Order to Show Cause -- translation, a petition to force the issue with the judge who has the power to end the guardianship.
If the judge turns down the request to end the guardianship, we're told Wendy will demand a jury trial where jurors will decide if Wendy has regained her capacity to run her own life without guardian control.

She finally put the bottle down to seize control of her life. After she's free she needs to look into the doctor who diagnosed her and every one else who took part into gaining control of her money--including the judge.

I think Wendy will be free soon. She better keep an eye on the wolves.

If her money hadn't been seized she wouldn't have any left. As much as I hate Wells Fargo, I'm glad they did what they were supposed to do.

Why was she defending his right to have access to her money at first though?? I mean. I get that he should be able to pay for essentials but she was the main one snapping when people brought it to her attention and didn’t want others speaking on it.

Wendy it is not your child's fault. Many rich folks kids spend money. It's the bank and courts fault for making you a target and using you, not your baby. Courts and banks don't stop poor folks from spending.

It's a shame she has to go through alllll of this just to control her own life. Murders don't have to go through all of this to get released!

IT IS THE BOY'S FAULT-PERIODT.

If my child is running through my bucks while I'm incapacitated I want the bank to be legally required to step in. Why is this the bank's fault?

It's not at all the bank's fault. They had a fiduciary responsibility to put a stop to what was going on and they did their job.

Wendy sounds sane and coherent because of that guardianship. She would be dead and broke without it
