Although they may be cool with each other. A few years ago after Traci passed Beyonce' wished Tamar a happy b-day by posting a childhood pic of her during the tribute but the pic was of Trina though, until Bey corrected it by posting Tamar's pic . Tamar said it helped cheer her up because Traci had passed right around Tamar's b-day. So, they could be cool with each other.
Yes a well deserved award. Hate it, love it, or never heard it, CC brought awareness to a community that was barely getting any recognition in country music. Now I’m seeing and hearing black country artist everywhere outside of my YouTube search.
When Beyonce won, so did all those artist featured on her album. She may have started off selfish in the beginning of her solo career (even B said all she wanted to do was be number 1), but Beyonce has come full circle. I love her growth, and I love what she has achieved for the black country artist community.
One thing I noticed is that winning AOTY brings more awareness to the artist that receives the award, so no matter how people feel she obtained it, she’s about to be even more popular. I already witnessed it today at work.
