Personally, it’s hard to feel anything for a man who had no regards for other’s feelings. Irv was really blatant with his words and actions. Me grieving for him is like grieving for the Grim Reaper. I get people loved his contribution to hip hop but dude was a whole a-hole.

Whether you liked him or not Irv kept it 100 with everybody during his interviews. My favorite story he told was how he inspired DMX to yell on the mic before "X Gonna Give It To You": "You Think IT'S A F**KIN' Game?!?" on the Intro becuz X finished he song and left the booth and Irv made him go back into the studio and re-record the song, which p*ssed X off that the 1st take wasn't good enough for Irv.
I agree 2:58 straight a - hole. I def don’t believe in rewriting history and acting like someone was great bc they die. Ppl in here wanna tell you how to feel and what to say. He don’t have to do nothing to you personally he left lots of evidence of his non redeeming qualities.. and it’s ok to say it. Dead or alive. Period.
