Sean “Diddy” Combs was taken to the hospital from a federal lockup in Brooklyn under cover of darkness last week, The Post can reveal.
Sources confirmed that he was transported to a nearby hospital about 10 p.m. Thursday to undergo an MRI.
The 55-year-old rap kingpin, who is awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges, was taken from the notorious Metropolitan Detention Center to Brooklyn Hospital for the noninvasive test, a source told Page Six.
The medical scan was authorized because his “knee was bothering him,” citing the rapper’s long history of knee issues after he ran the New York marathon, the source said.
The insider added that the hospital visit was done late at night in order to avoid whispers and further speculation from other inmates or prison staffers.
Combs did not stay overnight and was taken back to his cell after the MRI concluded, the source said.
A Bureau of Prisons spokesperson told The Post, “For privacy, safety, and security reasons we do not comment on the conditions of confinement for anyone in our custody to include medical status or medical trips.”

Running one marathon dont make your knee damaged. He met his staff or family for consultation on money and getting rid off witnesses. Many old ppl run and don't have knee issues. If anything that injury is from being on his knees. LOLOU

Ok, say what they find requires surgery on the knee. It gets scheduled and Diddy's ppl plan to break him out of the hospital on the day of surgery to 'freedom'. Almost an efficient plan if done properly.

He's lying. I'm not a medical professional but I didn't know they did MRI's on knees. And when was the last time or how many times he's run a marathon. The only thing he did to injure his knees is getting on them in that prison and those parties.

Yeah, I had MRI's done on my Achilles Tendon, toe, ankle, back, even my finger to determine and locate what's actually going on and diagnose what's to occur going forward. How do you not know this can happen, 2:29 PM?
@3:00 I have a hard time believing anything this man says or his team says. He's the Diddler for christ sakes.
I was and am skeptical too. But, it's also my belief that he may've been injured while in jail and the guards are trying to hide the fact that they may've injured him while in custody.
In order to not be charged for causing him injuries the guards more likely than not chose to take him to the hospital at night as a cover up for what they may've done to his knees claiming it's from an old injury suffered from the nyc marathon he'd ran nearly 2 decades ago.
Let's not forget Puffy is at the age of 55, which is the age most folks that age starts to feel knee and other joint pains.
