The cause of death has been determined...
From NBC News
Los Angeles television news anchor Chauncy Glover's death last year was accidental, the county medical examiner's office announced.
Glover, a news anchor at KCAL, died of "acute intoxication" from methamphetamine and chloroethane, the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's Office said in a statement, noting that both the cause and the manner of death were accidental.
Chloroethane is a "colorless gas at room temperature and pressure" that is used to numb the skin before medical procedures and also has uses in manufacturing several commercial products, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Chloroethane is also sometimes used as a recreational drug.
Glover, 39, died unexpectedly in November. He was found unresponsive at his home on Nov. 5 and was pronounced dead at 12:40 a.m., the medical examiner's office said.

Way too cute to die such a stupid death.
There is much more to this story. Justice for Chanuncy
Wow. You never know who's using street drugs behind closed doors.
i don't think i have ever really heard of black people using meth like that... interesting. and it looked like he amped it up with some kind of gas. was that a popper or whatever they call the party drug stuff?
so he died from an overdose? why didn't' they just call it that? is an overdose an "accidental death"?
was he there alone? or partying with someone and went too far w/the intoxicants? who "discovered" his body? so many questions...
I've worked in drug rehab. It is a myth that Black folks don't use meth. Believe me, we use it.
THIS IS EXTREMELY UNFORTUNATE FOR THE ENDING OF ONE'S LIFE.
I DIDN'T REALLY KNOW WHO HE WAS, BUT THIS STORY IS VERY SAD.
Addiction doesnot exclude anyone. RIP
This story is weird. Will be interesting to see if anything else about this is released because that's an interesting mix. Chris Burrous was another news guy from LA station KTLA that died from hard drugs. He was married w/ a wife & kid at home, but died in a motel after using meth with a male "friend."
It looks like a g@y tryst gone wrong. R.I.P guy
Sound like somebody wanted somebody gone.
We sweet
@1:13pm..yup! Don't know the street name version but heard it's popular choice for g@y orgies. *cough*Andrew Gillium*cough*
@11:41 That is indeed strange. My first impression of Chauncey when I saw his photo was that he bats for the other team
@ 8:10 am. Good question. Per Google: As a general rule, courts typically view deaths involving a drug for which the insured has a lawful prescription to be accidental while treating deaths caused by illicit narcotics as non-accidental.
I guess "typically:", because if one mixed lawful prescriptions intentionally, hoping it would cause their demise, and I don't know, telling someone beforehand or leaving a note, and it did, I can't imagine that would be considered accidental.
