It's good that she's being recognized.

I marked March 30th on my calendar as "Dr. Crumpler Day." THEY will say it's actually Doctors Day, but in my world it will always be her day.

I didn't know any of this. Thanks, Snitch.

More people should know her name and accomplishments. I'm going to check out African Archives.

Good to see Black History being featured on this site. I recently saw an article online about a member of the infamous 'Jena 6' and recalled that the incident was posted on this site when that racist mess was going down.

I'm marking February 17th as Obama Day instead of Presidents' Day. Help his name go viral.

I love reading the daily posting about the Black ppl that I didn't know about and their accomplishments. Then I watch today's news and still see some of the same things happening from over a hundred yrs ago. The only difference is they are not lynching; they just shoot us down.

10:29. And this is what they don't want us to read. These are the kinds of facts that they won't teach in Florida and Texas public schools and Trump is tryna make it nationwide in the public school system.

They want us to be dumb and apathetic. It's working on some of us, but not all of us.
