Rapper YFN Lucci has been released one year after he was sentenced to prison.
YFN Lucci, whose real name is Rayshawn Bennett, pleaded guilty to one count of violating the Street Gang and Terrorism Prevention Act in Jan. 2024. He was sentenced to 20 years with 10 to serve.
The Georgia Department of Corrections confirmed to Channel 2 Action News that the rapper was released Friday morning.
Channel 2′s Michael Seiden first told you last summer about a letter Fulton District Attorney Fani Willis sent to State Board of Pardons and Paroles that supported his early release.
“The District Attorney of Fulton County did the unorthodox,” attorney Drew Findling told Seiden back in July. “That letter from the district attorney is a powerful punch and is really at the heart of the letter and supporting documents and the memorandum that we have shared with the parole board.”

Fani was harder on GA school teachers.
On the subject of Georgia criminals, is anyone following the female district attorney on trial that (allegedly) tried to cover for Ahmaud Arbery’s killers? Looks like Black media left his family hanging. Just an observation.
