Last night Will Smith shared a cryptic message on Instagram seemingly teasing his participation in the new Matrix movie,
“In 1997, the Wachowskis offered Will Smith the role of Neo in The Matrix. Smith turned it down. He chose Wild Wild West, believing it was a better fit for him at the time. But the question remains: What would The Matrix have been like with Will Smith as Neo?”

Reports say that Will won't be on the new Matrix sequel, but I think it may've been a good move given Lawrence Fishburne is getting up in age as is the newly 60 y.o. Keanu Reeves. Will is younger than both & might've been a smart move to add him to the series.
