The significant others of famous athletes and rappers are stepping into the spotlight, as seen in the newly released trailer below for W.A.G.s to Riches.
Hitting Netflix on Wednesday, Jan. 22 (with all eight episodes), the reality series promises to take viewers inside the high-stakes world of ambitious women in Miami who are connected to the city’s most elite athletes, musicians and power players.
Included in the cast are: Sharelle Rosado (Selling Tampa star and ex-fiancé to former NFL player Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson), Maranda Johnson (on again/off again girlfriend of rapper Kodak Black), Ashley Wheeler (wife of ex–Miami Dolphins football player Philip Wheeler), Alexis Welch Stoudemire (ex-wife of basketball legend and Olympian Amar’e Stoudemire), Porsha Berto (wife of retired world champion boxer Andre Berto), Sadé Vanessa (fiancé to NFL star Robbie Chosen Anderson), Lastonia Leviston (mother of Rick Ross’ first child) and Keeta Hill (wife of Miami Dolphins’ Tyreek Hill).
Per the official description: “This docu-soap follows a bold group of women who are breaking the mold and building empires of their own, balancing thriving careers, motherhood and high-profile relationships — all while dealing with the glamour and drama that come with their affluent lives. This type of show has been done over & over again until it's been overdone. Is really interested and not even Basketball wives have gotten the views it used to. Ocho's baby mother has tried to get any type of reality show to pop off for her and none of them have worked. I'll be shocked if anyone watches.

Why does yt tv ONLY show these types of black women. My mother didn’t behave in this manner and neither does my wife. Loud and boisterous and naked all the time. Uhh. Pass. It’s obvious money don’t care who got it.
This show does not put our women in a positive light.
