Tina Knowles Beach House Hit with Foreclosure

The bank forecloses on Tina Knowles' Galveston beach house after she fails to comply with city ordinance safety repairs...

After years of back and forth, the City of Galveston is taking action on Beyonce's mom's beach house.
The house, owned by Tina Knowles, was damaged during Hurricane Ike in 2008 and city officials eventually deemed the home a public safety hazard.
On December 6, a notice for demolition of the structure was issued.
Now, we've confirmed the home was foreclosed on.
The house went to auction Tuesday. But no one made a high enough bid, so it was taken by the bank.

She could have done so much with that house. Could have donated it to a worthy cause. Buy nope, some bank gets it instead smh

Oh stop it....that house was deteriorating from the salt water, hurricanes from abandonment like all the other houses.

Donate to who!? The house is s safety hazard and is slated for demolition. It obviously cost more to fix than it was worth so Ms Tina just cut her loses like she did with them 2 ex husbands.

Yea, if it was a safety hazard for her family to reside in it would've been for other families to reside in as well.

Why is it even still mortgaged? Why wasn’t that isht already paid off?

You can't donate a house that you don't fully own. It's the bank's loss, not Tina's.

She still owes the bank for the loan amount. The auction would have offset that amount. She was better of just making the bare minimum repairs and selling it while it was still salvageable back in 2008 instead of letting it rot for 16 yrs to the point demo was the only option.

No home owners insurance Galveston, Miami and soon to be LA.

Good question at 12:30. Her daughter is a 'billionaire'

Tina got her own money. Nobody bought that property at auction because everybody trying to save their house from the CA fires. Bad timing for auction.
It's only worth the land it sits on. Rotted out saltwater wood, dry walls and electric is not worth repairs. Where's HGTV Tarek El Moussa with his slick cheap remolding self? Putting up new walls on top of mold and mildew underneath. LOLO
Or those weird looking Property Brothers
Tell Tina to get off social media and get her property back. LOLO

Like the 1st commentor said, she could have fixed it back in 2009 and then sold it, or donated it, or passed it down. There are lots of possibilites.

A foreclosure will jack up her credit.

I agree with 12:17. Why keep throwing away her money on a home that is a hazard? And at her big age, I doubt she care about her credit score going down. If she needs funds she will apply at the bank of Beyoncé.
