But, perhaps he was born at home & his momma didnt know the bay's head gotta be shaped from the form of what it looked like coming out the birth canal.

I have never heard that you have to shape the baby's head when it's born.
Yes, if the birth is naturally coming out the birth canal the baby's head is deformed a bit like cone-shaped. So a medical surgeon/doctor 'shapes' the baby's head back on a round form.
If the baby is born via home birth the doula or whoever's assisting with the baby's birth may not know how to properly and carefully shape the baby's head in a round shape and the top part of the baby's head may resemble what that guy in the pic's crowned pointy head looks like.

Dummy, it's not "medical 'advise'"- it is an explanation from a surgical nurse who have watched surgeons who deliver babies shape the babies' heads after birth.
