This song is not that major. It goes to show you the music industry has fallen off. He has no real competition. The 90tys an early 2000's had hit after hit on the air waves.

Great for Lamar.

Not that major? The song is getting ready to kill it at the award shows. From NAACP awards to the Grammys it is the song to beat.

It's getting ready to show you just how major it isn't.

They can have their industry peers put money together to help all the people who lost their homes in the Southern California wildfires. This is great timing! Kendrick is going to show us what he’s all about . He won the Pulitzer and can bring some huge influence to get the help needed.

It’s going to be needed to get people dancing and getting their minds off of the loss of loved ones, pets, homes, and everything they owned. Some bippity bop music to uplift everyone.

Y'all are tripping over this song. If you like it so be it but it's not that big of a deal. It's not going to make a homeless person that lost their home in the fire go dancing in the streets because it's a bop. Simp at best.

It didn't need me to reach 1B. This song is whack.

I liked the diss track when I first heard it but it became lame when it went mainstream.
I remember when Kendrick wore a diamond crown of thorns on stage in the UK (I think). That was the moment I knew he took the golden ticket and that's why he's being shoved down our throats. Drake took the ticket too. He's just mad the machine has replaced him but that's how it goes.

@ 5:18...You're right. This song won't feed the homeless. Why compare apples to oranges. For what this song is (music) it's a major milestone. If 1 billion streams do not prove it to you, what is your benchmark for a great song? 2 billion? 3 billion? And name the songs that reached your benchmark. Sounds like a personal preference to me. You just don't like it.

1 BILLION STREAMS IS AMAZING GIVEN THE SONG HAS BEEN OUT FOR LESS THAN A YEAR.
IT TOOK SOME OF BEYONCE'S SONGS YEARS BEFORE THEY REACHED ANYWHERE CLOSE TO A 1 BILLION STREAMS/VIEWS.
CONGRATS ON THE ACCOMPLISHMENT , K-DOT.

It won’t feed the homeless nor help those who lost everything but it sure will make a ninja feel good about other people being not like them in their roach filled hip hop life full of struggles.

This country is full of pedos and it will make people feel good to address this issue while they recoup their losses.

The irony of the west coast fires and this stupid song being 🔥!
Can’t make this ish up!
God be giving signs and it goes right over peoples heads. 😂

According to the fans it will. This song is needed to make people feel good while they lost everything. Celebs will help the homeless. Don’t worry! They won’t turn their backs on the people who made them successful.

THANKFULLY, EVERYONE AREN'T HOUSELESS &/OR STARVING IN MOST PARTS OF AMERICA. MUSIC ISN'T SUPPOSE TO CURE THESE DISTURBING ISSUES TOO MANY ARE FACING GLOBALLY.
THAT'S NOT WHAT THE SONG OR ANY SONG FOR THAT MATTER IS SUPPOSE TO DO. MUSIC AIN'T SUPPOSE TO DO ANY OF THE THINGS THAT ONE'S GOVERNMENT OR THE CHURCHES ARE SUPPOSE TO DO: FEED & HOUSE THE HUNGRY & HOUSELESS.

The success of this song will help K.Dot to help his peers. They need all the help they can get now.

Whoo hoo! AWESOME!!! I can dance to this while I figure out how to lay my loved ones to rest and get my life back to together! Awesome! Can’t wait to watch the Super Bowl in someone else home just to diss Drake, a rapper who has everything I don’t have anymore! Yay!!

IF THAT'S WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY GON' & GET YOUR BOOGIE ON.
BUT, IF ONE IS REALLY IN THOSE TYPES OF UNFORTUNATE & SERIOUSLY TRAGIC CIRCUMSTANCES I'M QUITE SURE THEY'RE NOT LISTENING TO MUSIC RIGHT NOW OR ANYTHING ENTERTAINING FOR THAT MATTER.

FOR THOSE OF US LOOKING FOR AN ESCAPE FROM OUR EVERYDAY PROBLEMS & RELAY ON ENTERTAINMENT TO TAKE US AWAY FROM OUR REALITIES FOR A WHILE, WE'LL BE ENJOYING THE SONG OR OTHER SONGS & WORRYING ABOUT REAL LIFE ISSUES LATER.

CONGRATS, KENDRICK LAMAR ON YOUR SMASH HIT SONG!
