Jodie Turner Smith Accuses Joshua Jackson of Refusing to Pay Alimony and Child Support

Joshua Jackson's estranged wife, Jodie Turner-Smith, demanded the court set a trial date in their divorce after accusing him of not paying her support since they split, In Touch can exclusively report.

According to court documents obtained by In Touch, Jodie, 38, via her powerhouse lawyer, Laura Wasser, asked that a three-day trial be scheduled.

She said the issues that need to be resolved include visitation, custody, child support, spousal support, division of property and attorney fees.

The exes share a 4-year-old daughter, Juno Rose Jackson.

As In Touch first reported, Jodie recently asked the court to award her temporary child and spousal support. The actress claimed Joshua, 46, had not paid a dime in support since she filed for divorce in October 2023.

In a declaration, Jodie told the court, “Josh has paid me $0 in guideline” support.

Jodie claimed Josh was dragging out the divorce and costing her a ton of money in the process. She wrote in her declaration, “Josh has run up my attorney’s fees and forensic accounting costs and has made this dissolution far more difficult than necessary. At this point, it is clear that Josh is unwilling to negotiate reasonable [temporary] spousal and child support payments to me, and I am left with no choice but to seek this court’s intervention and file this instant motion.”

Jodie said she believed Josh pulls in around $195,000 a month in income. She said he earned $2.3 million in 2022.

The actress submitted a list of her income and expenses as part of her request. Jodie said she earned an average of $87,500 per month, but had recently earned $245,000 in a single month. Jodie said she had $5,000 in the bank and another $366,000 in investments.

She said she spends $40,000 a month on rent, $1,800 on groceries, $3,291 on entertainment, $6,000 on support for family members and various other expenses totaling $58,419.

In her motion, Jodie asked the court to award her temporary spousal support in the amount of $28,641 and another $8,543 in child support.

In addition, Jodie asked for a one-time lump sum of $250,000 to cover expenses in the divorce. Jodie said she has spent $412,000 on legal fees since she filed for divorce.

In her filing, Jodie also revealed a dispute over their marital home.

The actress said she contributed $800,000 to the downpayment due to Josh claiming he did not have the “necessary funds at the time to purchase the land.”

Jodie explained one of the “central points of support and dispute” is her ex attempting to claim he marital home as his separate property.
