Sean “Diddy” Combs has filed a $50 million defamation lawsuit against a man who publicly claimed to have videos depicting the mogul sixually assaulting inebriated celebrities and minors, which his lawyers say could negatively influence his upcoming trial.
The suit, filed today in New York, names Courtney Burgess, who was subpoenaed for grand jury testimony in Combs’ case; his attorney Ariel Mitchell; and Nexstar Media (which operates NewsNation). Combs’ lawyers outline their assertions and describe them as “outrageous lies,” stating that any explicit tapes they claim to possess do not exist.
“Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is taking a stand against the malicious falsehoods that have been fabricated and amplified by individuals seeking to profit at his expense,” said Erica Wolff, Combs’ attorney, in a statement shared with Variety. “These defendants have willfully fabricated and disseminated outrageous lies with reckless disregard for the truth. Their falsehoods have poisoned public perception and contaminated the jury pool. This complaint should serve as a warning that such intentional falsehoods, which undermine Mr. Combs’s right to a fair trial, will no longer be tolerated.”
Mitchell and NewsNation did not respond to Variety‘s request for comment.

Well, 10:25, those are the things one must think about before they make accusations, testify before a grand jury,etc. against someone who may not be guilty of what they are being accused of!
If this man lied to the grand jury he will or would have been charged! Keep in mind they asked him to provide whatever tapes her had! By causing him of not having tapes he would have to most likely prove that he does to defend himself in this civil case which then puffy and his attorneys can see the evidence that this man gave to the grand jury ahead of the feds giving it to them in discovery? 🤔 if this is the case then he a sneaky lil sum
