Wendy Williams made a rare public outing to watch her son, Kevin Hunter Jr., graduate from college.
The former talk show host, 60 — whose team announced her frontotemporal dementia and aphasia diagnoses in February — was photographed attending Florida International University’s Steven J. Green School of International and Public Affairs’ graduation on Thursday.
Williams used a red mobility scooter to enter and exit the Miami venue where the ceremony was held.
Despite her apparent mobility issues, the media personality showed up dressed to the nines. She dazzled in a sparkly midnight blue floor-length gown, which she paired with black-and-white Chanel shoes.
Williams accessorized with a brown Louis Vuitton crossbody bag and a bold red lip. She wore her caramel-highlighted hair down and straight with blunt-cut bangs.
Once inside, the proud mom was snapped smiling and cheering for her only child. As Hunter Jr., 24, took the stage, an open-mouthed Williams clasped her hands up under her chin and looked on with immense joy before wiping away tears.
Other family members were also present, including Williams’ dad, Thomas Williams Sr., 93, who was escorted into the event via a wheelchair pushed by his other daughter, Wanda Finnie.

At least we know she's with her family. Where was Big Kev? Too busy worrying about getting money from Wendy to attend the graduation?
Another source showed photos of her accompanies by armed guards. What in the world is going on with her? You don't bring armed guards to an event like that unless you are expecting trouble.
^^^She doesn't want anyone questioning her or checking her out up close. Wendy is not here to answer any questions and she knows exactly what she's doing.
She diagnosed with a whole debilitating disease and they focusing on what she wore. SMH
Wendy is not making decisions people. Wendy is being dressed up, brought out and propped up by her security aides. Nothing wrong with this. Her family and team making sure she feels included.

Her family and handlers are concerned Kevin will have her snatched for his own personal $$ reasons. Thus the reason for the security.

Wendy definitely looks propped up like someone else dressed her. They went overboard on the accessories.
Big Kevin never cared about his son. And with Big Kevin harassing Wendy over $48 million who would be the dummy to ask why she has security????

It is good to see her out and about enjoying her family.
What's even more amazing is her son actually graduating.
Wendy is out and supporting her only child that she loves dearly. You should know the guards are to protect her from overzealous fans and ex trying to push up on her whenever he can to make her give him money. The father and sister can't protect her from those kind of ppl.
