She should also REJECT his last name as well, if her problems w/ him is THAT serious.

She just want media attention b/c soccer players don't make the $$$ other female led sports teams w/ stars on their team make.
Usually, I'm on the side of folks who wanna hold their absentee parents' accountable, but she's clearly doing this for the attention it gets making me sick and so tired of her already!

He apologized and she rejected his apology but refuses to reject the surname that's getting her the attention and fame.
Screw her. She needs him and his name, he don't really need her even if she is his daughter. She's an adult now and should behave as such.

What Dennis gave was a non apology. He took no responsibility for his absence, his neglect, nor the effect that it has on his offspring.

i had no problems with how Dennis apologized because it's what a parent says when they don't know what the ungrateful offspring wants them to say.
He gave her THE NAME she Won't relinquish while talking shit about the one who gave her the name she's infamous for and HE MADE FAMOUS!
The child support payments he paid her mother paid for her education and a roof over her head so that she could become the soccer player she is today while wearing weave bundles in her hair, etc.
Dennis was a athlete, who had to do his job; No he wasn't a Stay-At-Home father because had he been, she wouldn't have the lifestyle she claims that she didn't have when I believe she did live better than most kids who dads had done even less than Rodman had for his children!

Telling broken people how to heal with the person who inflicted the pain? She was brought up by two irresponsible parents. Her mother isn’t safe from criticism. Dennis is not entitled to her respect or forgiveness because he was a sperm donor. He was abandoned himself so why would her mother choose him as a partner? If he wanted a better narrative, he should have done better. Hopefully, she will give him a chance. She was going to make it in spite of being related to him. Never traded on his name. Claiming him is a distraction and may cause her revenue stream to dry up because of his negative persona.
But she isn’t disrespecting her mother. How about take her mother’s name and just move on from the man that was absent from her life.
Janet DuBois never told anyone her father was Cab Calloway. She didn’t want that connection in Hollywood considering who he was. He was a deadbeat. She never blasted him in interviews like people do today on social media for CLOUT!

When an adult child blasts their parent who is celebrated for their talent, make no mistake about it. It is with intention to destroy to cause pain that they felt and to change the public’s perception of that person.
When that is done be ready to get that same negative attention. Now, that you made it known it’s not your talent that you want to be to be focus, be ready to do interviews that shows your negative energy!
