'Half & Half' fan favorites, Telma Hopkins and Valarie Pettiford reunite on the day time soap opera, 'The Young & The Restless...'

Young and Restless has revealed that Telma Hopkins, who first popped into Genoa City in 2021 as private eye Denise Tolliver, will be returning to the show on December 19 and 27. In the episodes, she’ll once again be working alongside her former Half & Half co-star, Valarie Pettiford, who joined the show in October as Amy Lewis. In the story, Nate (Sean Dominic) will hire Denise to find his half brother, Amy’s son, Damian.

I watch Y&R and I’ve seen Valerie. Looking forward to seeing Thelma again. Thelma is also reuniting with Bryton James who played the little kid on Family Matters and they acted on that together.
So where is Tony Orlando?
Does Telma age? Is she a vampire?
Oh my goodness. Valerie Pettiford was the boogie mom from Half n Half. I didn’t even recognize her!!!
OH, THIS MEANS VALERIE PETTIFORD WON'T BE PLAYING "CHIPPY DUNCAN" ON THE FAMILY BUSINESS" ANYMORE.
SOAP OPERAS USUALLY HAVE A BOOK WORHT OF DIALOGUE TO LEARN PER DAY, WHICH MAY NOT GIVE VP ANY TIME TO BE ON ANY OTHER SERIES FOR OTHER NETWORKS.
THIS MAY BE A BETTER COME UP FOR HER ANYWAY.
Congrats I guess. I grew up on Y&R, but haven't really watched it in years. Don't know & can't relate to any of the new characters. All I know is Victor, Nikki, Jack, Traci, Lauren, Michael, Cricket. Not trying to rain on the parade but I've been disappointed that they have beige black characters. I remember when the few blacks that was on the show was actually black.
Aww, love these 2… just don’t watch soap operas tho. Bring back Half&Half and Girlfriends for final episodes!
I haven't watched Y&R since Neil, the late Kristoff St. John passed away nearly five years ago or so.
