Snoop Dogg is sparing no expense when it comes to planning his only daughter's wedding.
In fact, the rapper revealed the most over-the-top gift he's ever given his youngest child, Cori Broadus, in honor of her upcoming nuptials to fiancé Wayne Duece.
"It's the truth, but the only thing about this gift is she never got to open it, or she hasn't opened it yet," The Voice coach shared during a Dec. 2 appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show. "It was a million dollars for her wedding."
Snoop jokingly added to host Jennifer Hudson, "But, Jen, I told her if it was me, my wedding would have been $100 and $900 would have gone in my pocket."
Of course, Cori's ceremony was temporarily postponed after she suffered a stroke earlier this year. But Cori and Wayne's wedding planning journey—and all the relationship hiccups that came with it—will be documented on their new E! special Snoop's Fatherhood: Cori and Wayne's Story.

With the divorce rate as high as it is he would have done better putting that million in a high held savings account or son idk a way for the money to make more money and the money be her gift and maybe pay for a nice but less expensive wedding

I have a feeling that the reality TV show will pay for the million dollar wedding in addition to vendors who will donate their services to gain publicity from the national exposure that the show will garner. If this is the case, I say make it fabulous. After all, she has much to celebrate after surviving a serious health complication.
Being that she is a rich man's daughter who is prone to severe medical crisis, I hope a prenup is in order as well as she keeps her mom as medical power if attorney.

SO, A MILLION JUST MAY NOT BE ENOUGH IF IT'S A BIG CEREMONY & RECEPTION FOR SOMEONE OF THEIR STAR CALIBER.

In Cali a million is more than enough because many churches and reception venues offer amazing views that don't require thousands of dollars in floral arrangements and decorations. For instance, a ranch on the beach is so stunning that the ocean is the view. If she is wise she can keep it to $75,000 and pocket the rest to go towards a house.

I agree 8:29PM, that's just too much to spend on a wedding. I think ppl got it backwards. When you 1st get married, have a decent affordable wedding. Then with each anniversary, spend more. At least it's showing y'all have staying power & are making it through the long haul. I think about ppl who have these lavish weddings only to get divorced not too long after. I also think all that extra money should go to this new couple's living expenses & for both of their medical care. Stuff happens.
