Sheriffs Called in Draya Michele Tyrod Taylor House Dispute


Pop culture figure, Draya Michele, is currently in a bitter battle over the home she claims her ex, NFL player Tyrod Taylor, bought for her to live in with the option to purchase [click here if you missed that]. 

In the latest turn of events, Taylor enlists the sheriffs to evict Draya and her kids...

Draya Michele rushed to court days after the sheriffs came to her L.A. home and tried to lock her out, as she continues to battle her ex Tyrod Taylor over the property, In Touch can exclusively report.
According to court documents obtained by In Touch, Draya, 39, revealed officers came to her Chatsworth, California, home on November 20, about a week before Thanksgiving.
Draya said she received an “alarming phone call from her children’s nanny while she was away on a business trip that the sheriffs were at the subject property to lock the occupants out of the subject property.”
Draya said she quickly called her lawyer who drove over to the home to stop the sheriffs and prevent the lockout.
The model said this is when she learned that Tyrod’s company had filed an eviction lawsuit against her that she was unaware of. She said a default judgment had been entered in the case.
Draya said she was never served with the paperwork, nor did Tyrod, 35, or his legal team inform her of the case, despite them actively being in litigation against each other in a case brought by Draya.
Tyrod allegedly got permission to serve Draya via mail from the court, which would suggest he did not violate any law. Draya claims she did not receive any documents via mail.
She's asking the court to consolidate the eviction case and her lawsuit. Tyrod has yet to respond.

Smh she should’ve gotten the deed in her name, even if the house was a gift. But she really should get tf on. How you laid up in that man’s house with no kids that belong to him, have another man and child after y’all split, but want to stay in HIS home? Girl pack your things and go!

She might as well start looking elsewhere for shelter because the court will rule in his favor.

Honestly, her new baby daddy should be embarrassed of this. His baby mama is fighting her ex to remain in a house that she was never entitled to. But she clearly likes them dumb and pzzy whipped.

he mad cause he dumped and she just had that baby by the other football player. They havent dated for over a year maybe two now. She had that baby and now he want to put her out.

Tom Petty is alive he felt like he was sick of being clowned for everybody talking behind his back about her shacking up in his house with some NBA player and did something about it. Court gave permission and that reads like the court leaning a little based on what their finds are based on evidence in the other litigation the couple have going on. And as for her she falls into the category of females that communicates to her like minded girlfriends that she has 5 kids by saying I have 5 car payments. She gone stay as long as she can stay for as little as possible and try every legal maneuver possible including having him pay her legal fees if she can. He started out being a nice guy and wanting to do right by her most likely because their relationship produce offspring. Not knowing she was there from day one for the benefits and was looking for a horse to ride off into the sunset. Smartest thing he could have done would be to sell the place and give her half or all of the money. He got get booked every month for child support either way, she just trying to live above her means the easiest way possible.

She seems to be fighting a losing battle. Even if she made improvements to the home, it still is not hers. Whatever she has in writing, if anything, must not be strong. She squatting at this point. This isn't the first time a man has had to make her leave. Just get a tiny home sis. Or have Jalen get you a 12 month rental. Either way, have some self respect DAMN!

A MEMBER OF MY FAMILY WENT THROUGH SOMETHING SIMILAR.
HIS GF BOUGHT THE HOUSE BECAUSE HE WANTED IT. AFTERWARDS, HE FIXED THE PLACE UP TO BE MORE LIVABLE TO THEIR STANDARDS, & AFTER THEIR BREAK UP SHE SUED HIM FOR THE HOUSE THAT SHE WANTED TO SALE WHILE HE STILL RESIDED IN IT. A JUDGE RULED IN HER FAVOR & HE HAD TO MOVE WITHIN 3 DAYS.
BUT, NOT BEFORE HE COUNTERSUED TO RECOUP WHAT HE'D PUT INTO THE HOUSE AFTER SHE PURCHASED IT, & ANOTHER JUDGE RULED IN HIS FAVOR: THAT IF HIS EX-GF SOLD OF THE HOUSE SHE'D HAVE TO SPLIT THE $ WITH HER EX-BF.
I TOOK A COURSE IN REAL ESTATE LAW BECAUSE OF BEING INTRIGUED BY THIS MATTER.
