Peter Thomas' Strict Post Prison Conditions

Last week former The Real Housewives of Atlanta ex husband, Peter Thomas, was sentenced to 18 months in prison on tax evasion charges [click here if you missed that].

Peter will also have to abstain from alcohol and submit to random drug tests once he is released...

From TMZ
According to legal docs obtained by TMZ, the 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' star has to join a substance abuse testing program during his two years of supervised release once he finishes serving his 18-month prison sentence.
He’ll have to stick to the conditions of his supervised release ... and it looks like his probation officer will be keeping an eye on him and can search him if they have a reason to suspect something’s up.
That’s not all -- he’s also been ordered to lay off excessive alcohol drinking and can’t buy, use, or mess with any narcotics or similar drugs.
On top of his supervised release, Peter's also been hit with a $2.5 million restitution bill to pay the IRS.
Thomas' attorney, Melissa Owen, addressed Peter's post-release supervision conditions by referencing his January arrest for DUI.
Owen tells TMZ ... "Anytime there is an indication that alcohol has contributed to problems in this person's life, they will offer treatment or monitoring to make sure this person succeeds on probation."

I hate to see any senior citizen fall.

So he has undercover alcohol and drug issues. Might explain why he's so bad at business.

I met Peter at Bar One, he was gracious and generous. I pray he can overcome this and get back on the right track.

That’s too harsh for a non violent offense. Must’ve had a public defender.
