Last month Netflix announced that Beyoncé would be performing for the NFL Christmas Day game halftime show [click here if you missed that].
Now Netflix announces Mariah Carey will open the game...

The holidays are synonymous with twinkling lights, glad tidings, and the emergence of a pop superstar who rings in the season on a high note — and the first few bars of a certain inescapable Christmas tune. It’s only fitting, then, that Mariah Carey will open the show at the first-ever NFL Christmas Gameday live on Netflix on Dec. 25.
Fresh off of her largest and most spectacular Christmas tour to date, Carey is set to dazzle fans this year with a taped performance of her record-breaking single, “All I Want for Christmas Is You.”
Her performance on NFL Christmas Gameday will air ahead of the live games: The Kansas City Chiefs will take on the Pittsburgh Steelers at 1 p.m. ET, and the Baltimore Ravens will take on the Houston Texans at 4:30 p.m. ET. Carey isn’t the only music superstar you’ll be able to see on Netflix that day: Beyoncé will perform in her hometown of Houston during the Ravens-Texans halftime.

Yassss.
I like Mimi and Bey, but can't somebody else represent on the holidays?
Even though Bey is cool with Mariah. I bet she's pissed about this.
Jay Z stay on his job. I hope Mariah don't lip sync.
Let's not pit Black woman against another. It's not cool. They both are worthy to represent.
Especially after hearing Taylor Swift has ended her tour. I don't get the soulless singing of TS and cut my wrist if you sing one more note, Billie Elish.
My 2 Front Teefs.
bey been replaced lol
I will be watching.
Team Mimi!
Should have always been the queen- Mimi…ppl got it twisted over the last ten years who and what a QUEEN is! And it’s not and never was Beyonce… 🤷🏽♀️

Well, "QUEEN" is a stretch. Remember: MC did marry and have twins w/ Nick Cannon. A real 'QUEEN' wouldn't make those types of moves-at least not on purpose.
