Friday night comedian Jamie Foxx hosted a star studded bash for his 57th birthday at Hollywood hotspot Mr. Chows [click here if you missed that].
Apparently Jamie got hit in the mouth with a glass that night, after a dust up with the party sitting next to him...
From TMZJamie Foxx was allegedly involved in a fight in the dining room of Mr. Chow Friday night, TMZ has learned.
Law enforcement sources tell us ... police were called to the popular, high-end Beverly Hills restaurant around 10 PM on the report of a fight inside.
A spokesperson for Jamie tells TMZ ... “Jamie Foxx was at his birthday dinner when someone from another table threw a glass that hit him in the mouth. He had to get stitches and is recovering. The police were called and the matter is now in law enforcement’s hands.”
A witness to the incident tells TMZ ... customers at another table were being rude and vulgar to Jamie, and he asked them to stop since his family was present ... which is when someone at that table allegedly threw the glass that hit him in the face.

Why should Jamie be confined to his home when celebrating? If you’re out celebrating with a family member and ignorant people from another table started f’cking with you, would you want someone to tell you, you should have stayed at home???!!! The idiot who threw the glass should be arrested for assault!

That person had some good aim to throw a glass from the next table and hit him in the mouth. Damn. Was an arrest made? Should not be hard to figure out who was there. I’m sure Mr Chow’s has cameras.
The person that threw the object must be white because if they were black, picture, video and possible mug shot would be out by now.
I don't know who this guy thinks he's fooling. I guess we'll never know what happened to the real Jamie Foxx.
I'M IN AGREEMENT WITH THOSE THAT SAID JF SHOULD'VE EITHER CELEBRATED AT HOME OR HAD A PRIVATE DININGROOM CELEBRATION AT THE RESTAURANT. THAT WOULD'VE MADE MORE SENSE IN THE AFTERMATH, WHICH MIGHT BE WHAT HE'S PROBABLY THINKING IN RETROSPECT, UPON SUFFERING A WOUND SO BADLY THAT IT NEEDED STITCHES & ALL.
Mr. Chow in Beverly Hills has a private dining room, so it really makes no sense for him not to have it reserved.
I can understand wanting to be amongst the people, but you're a high-profile, A-list actor-- safety should always be first.
