Plies Attorney Says Lawsuit is Not a Strategic Attack on Black Women

This week rapper Plies filed a lawsuit against rappers Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion, Glorilla and Soulja Boy accusing them of copyright infringement [click here if you missed that].

Plies' attorney, Walter Mosley, denies targeting Black women with the suit...

From TMZ
Plies filed an explosive lawsuit yesterday accusing Megan Thee Stallion, GloRilla, Cardi B and Soulja Boy of infringing on one of his catalog cuts ... his attorney says its arrival right after the election was just a coincidence!!!
The lawsuit's timing surprised many ... Kamala Harris supporters -- including Plies -- were in their feelings over losing the election and Meg, Glo, Cardi all helped the VP on the campaign trail in person.
Walter assures us the lawsuit has been months in the making and his legal team has a capable Black woman leading the charge on this case!!!

Since when are black women excused for paying what they OWE this is why men don't eff with us because of the entitlement. Lack of accountability but that's typical for a black woman. Send the asteroid! And I'm a black woman saying this. You guys are annoying af! And no I don't hate myself but I don't surround myself with you ignorant heffas. The fact that you guys pay millions for ignorant raunchy rap music is what takes me out. It was Plies beat and he deserves all the royalties. Sting did it to Diddy years ago and where was the black woman rallying for Puff? Exactly you guys only ralky when it's against a black man. Weirdos

@8:23 Your pickme logic is astounding. First and foremost, most of the female hip hop is ghost written by men. Secondly, it should be noted that Soulja Boy's "Pretty Boy Swag" is over 10 years old, why didn't Plies sue back then? I agree that everybody should pay what they owe but for you to use that as a reason to hate on Black women is just an excuse to spew your toxic self hate.

Robin Thick had to pay. Diddy had to pay. T.I. had to pay. Janet Jackson doesn’t play about artists using her music either. Neither did James Brown. They clear the approval with Mary J. Blige. I’m hearing her music be sampled more than I would have expected. This is business. Pay up!
