Two months ago the late Kim Porter's children, Christian Combs, twins Jessie and D'Lila Combs, and Quincy Brown made a public statement denouncing the alleged Kim Porter Diary being sold online [click here if you missed that].
Now Christian and Quincy have formally filed a cease and desist notice...
From TMZ
Christian and Quincy Combs, fired off a cease and desist letter to a guy named Courtney Burgess and his attorney Ariel Mitchell over "Kim Porter Tell It All ('Tell It All')" ... a book currently sold online under the pseudonym Jamal Millwood.
In the letter, obtained by TMZ, the Combs bros say they became the rightful heirs and owners of Kim's intellectual property rights following her death in November 2018 ... and therefore her purported diary entries belong to them.
As they point out ... Burgess himself did a bunch of interviews to promote the book, claiming it was an "original unedited" copy of her diary/memoir. He's alleged he got a flash drive from people who were close to Kim, and printed it without any edits to produce the book.
Quincy and Christian are shooting down that narrative, saying the whole flash drive tale is "patently false" and misleads the public. But, in the letter they add, IF it were true the flash drive would belong to them ... as Kim's heirs.
Kim and Diddy's sons are now putting Burgess on the clock -- they say he has 5 days to shut down the online sale of the book, stop doing interviews making his false claims and turn over any of Kim's possessions he claims to have. They also want an accounting of any money he's already made off the book.
The unspoken threat here is ... a lawsuit could be the Combs brothers' next move.

Good try. How can Burgess prove it was her diary without handwriting samples? Anybody can make up a flash drive. I got one over here. LOLO
Every week is a new twist and turn. I'm exhausted.
THAT'S WHAT I WOULD DO IF I WERE IN THEIR POSITION, BUT I WOULD'VE DONE IT MUCH SOONER.
If she didn't leave a will or a trust, y'all aren't heirs to sh*t! If she wanted y'all to gatekeep those flashdrives and her diary, she would've told Courtney to hand it over to y'all when y'all became of age, in the event she passed. Outside of designer clothes, shoes, and jewelry...what did Kim own?! Every asset she had was in Puff's name, dummies!
Without a will everything automatically goes to next of kin. If you have children and haven’t married, the children are the beneficiaries.
1:41 Dude told on himself by stating “the original unedited flash drive” by Kim. He states in the sale of the memoir that it truly was Kim’s.
^ Wrong as two left shoes. When an unmarried person dies intestate (that means without a will, as Kim did) her surviving children are next in line to serve as her heirs and rightfully own everything she left behind. If there's more than one child, the courts may decide how things are split. The intellectual property part is a whole separate issue but I'm sure their very well paid lawyer explained this to them so I'm now explaining it to you.
My comment was meant for 2:12. I see 2:24 gets it. :)
The book doesn't even matter anymore, the TRUTH is out there now for the world to see...Plus this goes way beyond Puff...this really exposing the luciferin doctrine
which is practice by ALL the elites in EVERY industry.
These young men need to worry about their OWN court case n not the TRUTH that everybody KNOWS!!!
2:42 you mean the yacht case? That wasn’t dropped? Damn, they really do need to keep their minds on their own business.
2:42 many tied up in this case have already sworn allegiance. They’re still waiting want young’un’s now. Some may make or convince their own kids to pledge.
It’s a soul gathering.
If the flash drive was given away by Kim prior to her death, how would they have no rights to it? It's like them coming after a dress or pair of shoes Kim gave away to a home girl.
Wouldn’t the Quincy Brown Porter and Christian Porter have to prove that it was stolen? If Kim gave it away then essentially at the time of her death it was no longer her property.
Isn't the point that the truth is out, They trying to k*ll the messenger, distract, deflect. SMH, well the only other thing to get to is No Justice For Mom, Free Daddy Money Baggs.
Good, they are finally taking action on Kim's behalf. Even if it doesn't work, it will let all the others trying to profit off her death know it won't go unchallenged.
Puffy laying these attorneys and they working hard! Let’s see
I meant paying
Because Kim died intestate, all of her children inherit her estate equally. However, if this man in possession of her flash drive and diary can prove that Kim gave him possession of these items ( i.e. in the form of a will) then he is the rightful owner of these possessions. However, he has to go through probate court proceedings if he has no proof of rightful possession.
^^^^^^^ THE FIRST PART IS TRUE: CHILDREN OF THE UNMARRIED DECEASED DO INHERIT HER ESTATE. BUT I DOUBT IF KIM HAD A WILL OR LEFT ANYTHING TO THE GUY WHO'S IN POSSESSION OF THE FLASH DRIVE. SOUNDS LIKE THE GUY STOLE IT FROM KIM'S HOUSE.
