Federal investigators have been collaborating with the Clark County District Attorney’s (DA's) office in Las Vegas over their broad probe of the iconic rapper’s shooting in 1996, a source told The U.S. Sun.
Self-confessed Los Angeles gang kingpin Keefe D is currently the only person charged with the assassination of the rap icon in September 1996 - and it was not known that there was any ongoing federal investigation related to the crime.
A source has said federal officials, however, have been “collating information” by Vegas prosecutors and their teams about wider claims and connections to criminal activity, gangland activities, and individuals who wanted Pac dead.
The staggering twist is that the same teams liaising with the Vegas law enforcement are those investigating Diddy's federal sax trafficking case.
Keefe claimed in a police interview and media chats that Diddy offered him $1 million for killing Tupac at the height of the East-West Coast rap wars.
That astonishing allegation has never been corroborated by any other gang members or hard evidence - and Diddy has never been arrested or charged in connection with the Tupac murder.

At this rate they might as well charge him for jaywalking back in '96. How many more charges they gonna slap him with and why? Makes me think either they don't have a really strong case and they're building up on a bunch of old offenses to get him more time, or whoever he pissed off told the feds to make sure they lock his azz up FAH-EVA.

@2: 19 that narrative has been debunked. Pac had a weapon in the glove compartment. Pac didn't get any injuries consistent with trying to jump in the back seat. Furthermore Pac stayed alive in the hospital, was able to walk and talk but the doctors incompetence they couldn't find where his internal bleeding was coming from and he died.

It has been reported that tupac was conscious and attempting to get out of his bed:
it is mentioned that Tupac was in an induced coma because he would try to pull the plug and get out of bed whenever he regained consciousness3. This implies that the medical staff took measures to keep him sedated to prevent such actions.
Make no mistake Tupac was gravely injured when he got to the hospital but he still had life in him. When they cut out his lung he had to be intubated and couldn't speak anymore. It’s crazy that the public KNOWS Puff had a hand in conspiring to kill 2 PAC & responsible for the circumstances that got Big killed. In both cases Puff is the common denominator.
This may have all started when Puff's bodyguard was killed in the ATL by Suge's bodyguard at BIG MEECH's party.
I think Puff had something to do with Keefe D ordering Pac's hit, & I also think Suge retaliated by having Biggie killed.
When you look at it from that angle, Suge Knight really is the Common Denominator in BOTH PAC & BIGGIE's deaths.
Originally they put in a tube and drained the blood out his lung but again couldn't locate where the internal bleeding was coming from so dummies took his rib and lung which was a major surgery to be having.
If Pac did TALK it would have been in the 16 hour window before he had lung surgery most likely.
