Tiffany Haddish Wants GA DUI Postponed

Comedian Tiffany Haddish is currently facing DUI charges in Georgia and Los Angeles after falling asleep behind the wheel in the middle of traffic [click here if you missed that].

Now Tiffany is trying to get the GA case postponed...

From In Touch
Tiffany Haddish pleaded with the judge presiding over her Georgia DUI case to postpone the trial to allow her to take a trip overseas, In Touch can exclusively report.
According to court documents obtained by In Touch, Tiffany, 44, asked that the trial, which is scheduled to start anytime between October 21 and October 25, be pushed.
The comedian’s lawyer claimed Tiffany has a “significant commitment out of the country for a charitable organization during that week.” Tiffany said she will be hosting a Fashion Trust Arabia in Marrakesh, Morocco, on October 23. Her lawyer said, “The organization is a trust/charity that was created to help young designers and entrepreneurs in the Middle East.”
“The organization is relying on Ms. Haddish for this event, and this is a significant personal and financial commitment,” her lawyer added.
The actress pointed out that the court had yet to rule on her second motions seeking to suppress certain evidence. She argued a decision should also be made on that before a trial date is set. Tiffany said the prosecutors did not object to her request. The court docket revealed the judge signed off on the plea and pushed the trial. The Girls Trip actress was arrested in January 2022 by Peachtree City PD. The police received a call about a driver who had fallen asleep at the wheel. The police said they pulled over Tiffany due to her car matching the description of the car provided by dispatch. The police said they believed Tiffany had smoked marijuana. The comedian was arrested for a DUI. The comedian was later released on $1,666 bond. She entered a plea of not guilty to the charges.
Tiffany had fallen asleep behind the wheel of her car while it was in the street. The Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office charged her with a DUI and driving with a BAC over .08 percent. The L.A. arrest caused the prosecutors in Georgia to request that Tiffany not drink or use drugs while out on bond. In addition, they asked that she submit to weekly drug tests. The judge signed off on the request. Recently, the tests were reduced to bi-monthly. A couple of weeks later, Tiffany reached a plea deal in the L.A. case.

Take away her license and no more driving while drunk. Also, community service to all whose lives were destroyed by drunk drivers.

I get what Katt is saying about Tiffany but I actually like her. I also feel that she learned a lesson from that situation with her ‘friend’s’ kids. She didn’t ruin their lives like we see with Bieber and the Corey’s from the 90’s. Meaning, they weren’t violated.
Tiffany’s breakout was Girl’s Trip and I think her acceptance caused some jealousy. So what she doesn’t have upteen stand up comedy sets. So what she isn’t in the same lane as Mo’Nique, Wanda Sykes and other female comedians. People still liked and accepted her. I think she gets a bad rap mostly from envy.

Nobody’s envious of Tiffany Haddish. She’s loud as hell and people just want her c00nish acting to go away. She should go back to Africa and find her Father.
