Feds Oppose Diddy's Bond Appeal

Last week Bad Boy Entertainment CEO, Sean 'Diddy' Combs, filed his third appeal for a bond after his arrest on human trafficking charges [click here if you missed that].

Prosecutors are determine to keep him behind bars until the start of trial...

Prosecutors spoke out on Sean "Diddy" Combs' repeated bids to be released from jail before his May 2025 trial.
On Wednesday, October 16, they argued the disgraced music producer — who has been accused of rxpe, human trafficking and more in various lawsuits — should not be allowed to use his wealth and power to get special privileges.
"The District Court rightly rejected Combs’s effort to pay his way out of detention, when the record established that no set of conditions could ensure the safety of the community," prosecutors wrote in a statement. "Combs’s longstanding and sophisticated methods of obstructing justice and silencing witnesses more than established his dangerousness."
As OK! previously reported, Combs' legal team originally asked for their client to released to in-home detention on $50 million bail. Their requests were denied twice.

They’re keeping him in there. Just like they did Young Thug. No bail! He is a risk to others.

At this point it could go either way. His new attorneys have made very compelling arguments explaining why he should be released and this recent judge could be sympathetic to those pleas. Trump is out on bail for several of his cases and those exclusions should apply to everyone, not just a white man who is fighting to become president.

I don't think this case will get the attention that its currently receiving by the time it goes to trial and Combs will more likely than not be found Not Guilty.
The GP will have tired ourselves of the case, trial, and everything else that's associated with it by then.
That's just how it goes sometimes.

@2:14. I ain't here for Trump, but he is more than a white man fighting to be president. He's a former president and former leader of the free world. That carries weight, even for someone like Donald "grab them by the pizza" Trump. Combs can forget about any kind of fair play from anyone.
