Diddy Assigned a New Judge

Two weeks ago Bad Boy Entertainment CEO, Sean 'Diddy' Combs, was denied bond twice after his arrest on human trafficking charges [click here if you missed that].

Now Diddy has been assigned a new judge...

From CNN
The federal criminal sax trafficking case against Sean “Diddy” Combs has been assigned a new judge.
On Thursday, a notice in the court docket indicated the case was reassigned to Judge Arun Subramanian, who was first nominated by President Joe Biden in 2022 and took the bench in 2023.
Subramanian spent most of his career as a civil litigator of complex disputes at the law firm Susman Godfrey. Before joining the law firm, he worked as a law clerk for Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
No explanation for the change was given. CNN has reached out to the court, attorneys for Combs, and the US attorney’s office for the Southern District of New York for comment.
Combs’ case was first randomly assigned to Judge Andrew Carter, who was nominated by President Barack Obama in 2011.
Carter denied Combs bond and ordered him detained in jail while awaiting trial. At the end of a lengthy court hearing, the judge said he could find no conditions that would make him comfortable releasing the music mogul in light of allegations of witness tampering and physical violence. Combs has appealed the decision.
Combs is currently incarcerated and is being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York while awaiting his criminal trial.

He's about to get bail.

The fact that an Obama judge denied Diddy's bail twice, is a bad sign for him. Even murderers get bail in NY.

Yeah, he will be getting out now.

All he had to do was pay Cassie and he wouldn't be here, but he couldn't do it.

Now, Russell Simmons is holding back on paying off some people and all the dirty details will be released. You'd think they would have learned by now.

It's a federal case, not a NY state case.

^He paid Cassie. Obviously he could do it.^

Cassie isn't his only (alleged) victim. He could have gotten charged over someone or something else.

If he is released it would probably be more about the people that he's connected to and not him.

NDAs don't shield criminal activity.

Yeah, Combs could have gotten charges from other women, but Cassie filing suit, Combs paying her off and that video of him beating her are what opened the doors. I don't think these other victims would have stepped up without Cassie filing suit.

I don't care how he got to this point.

He's desperately reaching.

...and Jaguar is working the media circuit.

Jaguar is making the circuit because not one celebrity she has spoken on has checked or sued her. Well, except Tevin Campbell. Maybe they don't think it's worth the effort or maybe because she has shown no credible proof of what she says so they let her talk. Aand how does she know all of this but is not complicit. Like Gene Deal.
