Vlogger Shares Bad Fenty Salon Experience

Three months ago Rihanna launched Fenty Hair to much fanfare [click here if you missed that].

This week a TikTok vlogger with 4c hair shared her experience after booking an appointment at a Fenty Hair pop up salon in the UK...

@sincerelyoghosa0 Part 1 Saw fenty hair salon in selfridges on tiktok and some black girls i know went and had an amazing time. Unfortunately my stylist did not seem trained in natural hair care and wasnt professional at all. This is a lil disappointing from a brand thats supposed to be a force gor diversity and inclusion. We need to do better. Black women and black kinky hair deserves better. 4c haor should NOT be treated like a chore or like a coarse hard thing to be dominated with force and pain. @Fenty Hair #blackhair #blackgirltok #fentyhair ♬ original sound - sincerelyoghosa (O-Wo-Sah)

@sincerelyoghosa0 Part 2. Fenty hair salon experience having 4c natural curls. The salon is a pop up in selfridges but because the brand champions diversity and inclusion that needs to be included in every part of the business and its ventures. Black hair shoukdnt be the last consideration when formulating hair products. Please do better @Fenty Hair #blackhair #4chairstyles ♬ original sound - sincerelyoghosa (O-Wo-Sah)

Can't believe people are even wasting their time there. There's thousands of products out there. These celebrities just jumped in the bandwagon what hundreds of hairlines have been doing for the past 20 years. Unless someone invents a product that takes away frizz on 4c hair I remain loyal to NONE. Except Aunt Jackie's

Girl first and foremost your hair is not natural if you applied a chemical to it 6 months ago, it hasn't grown out that much to be rid of the chemical. Second learn how to do it yourself, especially since you claim you're natural.

Her hair looks dry and damaged anyway. Personally I go to those Dominican hair salons. They have my hair soft and silky and I stopped relaxing 2 years ago after my cancer diagnosis.

She thought her hair was going to go from 4C to B4. Go sit down, sis. You’re too old to have dry hair and then blame it on a celeb’s product. Your hair is short which shows you don’t know how to grow your own hair because of everything you used on it before Fenty Hair.

The owner's hair is fried and died with patchy edges. Of course, the product is a failure.

Nappy not happy. LOL

Did she pay for that?

She's getting all bent out of shape because she picked the wrong salon. She should find someone who knows how to use the correct product on her frizzy hair. Next!

The stylist couldn't explain how the Fenty products she used would work on her hair. The problem is more than likely with the uneducated, condescending stylist than the products.

Riri hair products need to be on the shelves of the dollar store. Right next to her Crayola Crayon make-up. LOLO

Product probably not made for 4c hair since it’s made for rhianna and her texture is probably 3b or 3c or 4a

Angry at the natural hair.....

I think her issue was less about the products and more about the stylist
