I don’t understand why he would Thank her. Maybe he feels the attention she brought to country helped him in some way. He was already there and had fans.
He earned it. He is actually in the country genre so I can see why he was accepted as a country new artist. Beyonce’s motive is just all wrong. For someone who expects the awards and accolades from one album over musicians who breathe, live and eat country is just an entitlement complex.
