Seriously, 9:47 AM? He was 77 years of age and did not look well in recent online images. He may have been in poor health (for a while). Please show some respect for his grieving family, fans & friends, etc.
10:02, I recognize that he's been sick for years. My comment was more so about how strange the the family's statement was. It's not uncommon for older people who are sick to make their own options, and I'm not mad at that. Either way, I hope he's at peace and not suffering anymore.

11:36, when a person dies of natural causes, you don't tend to see families asking for privacy and to grieve in their own way. I'm not vested either way, and maybe they didn't mean anything by it, but the statement is still a strange one to make. I said what I said.
My pet peeve is when an elderly person dies and someone inevitably mentions that we should eat right and exercise. Frankie Beverly lived longer than the average lifespan for a Black man in America. At 77, he lived a good life. Neither fitness junkies or vegans makes it out of this life alive.

R.I.P King. 77 is still too young in my eyes. Eat right, exercise daily and keep your emotions in line with your desired reality.
