A jury ordered rapper Quavious “Quavo” Marshall pay a former Las Vegas Strip hotel employee nearly $700,000 after he slapped him in 2018.
Antonio Henry, a former valet for the Encore Hotel & Casino, said Marshall injured him both physically and emotionally.
The jury agreed and ordered Marshall to pay $682,000 to Henry in compensatory and punitive damages following a multiweek trial.
The 8 News Now Investigators were the only reporters in court as Marshall testified.
Marshall’s attorney said Henry was not injured by Marshall and was instead in pursuit of what he called a “hip-hop lotto ticket.”
Las Vegas Metro police issued Quavo a citation, however, the case did not appear in any court record.
