Without naming her, Issa says she would never work with Amanda again and that Amanda's issues are with the publicist, not her.

Issa, you write your publicist’s checks so how was the issue not with you. Be upfront about why you don’t like Amanda instead of putting it on your publicist. You’re not being a real woman. You didn’t want her at the party because she’s too outspoken. Maybe it’s because she’s light skin, I don’t know but be truthful.
Janet Jackson over there firing her publicist for speaking for her putting words in her mouth that she didn’t say and Issa lying like she don’t talk about Amanda to her publicist.
It's a shame they can't bury the hatchet.
I got people in L.A. and unfortunately, I heard that Issa isn't a very nice person. Still, I agree with her on this one. These are two grown folks, she's not responsible to hold their hands and make sure they act like mature adults. And Amanda was wrong to throw Issa's name up in her interview.
They might be grown folks but Issa is the boss. Amanda couldn't fix this one by herself. If it was me I would have fired the publicist for starting this mess.
I’m with Issa. She gave them the opportunity to clear the air and Amanda declined so… bye then. What else is Issa supposed to do for her? The publicist is clearly valued and played more so there goes an employable actor who doesn’t feel the need to hash it out, defend herself, and get back in.
The publicist didn’t start anything if she was reactive to something Amanda started. What exactly did Amanda do? Issa can only trust her publicist she pays to protect her and her brand so one actor out of many to choose in supporting roles is not the one to worship and save
That’s not what happened though! The publicist outright denied Amanda entrance into the party from the jump. Another actor that was there even tried to bring her in as his plus one and she still denied Amanda. And a publicist can’t protect anyone. That’s what a bodyguard is for. Tha fuq! Y’all don’t even make any sense.
Issa should just be woman enough to say she doesn’t care for Amanda instead of acting like her publicist calls the shots. She’s the freaking boss. Issa is a trip! She was upset at her peers because they were inviting her out to the parties and got pissed stating that she doesn’t have to come to all the shin dings because she’s a private person and prefers to be at home with her d@ck. Nothing wrong with that but she didn’t name names. She was evasive like she is being now and not owning up to her dislike of Amanda. Trying to put it off on the publicist like she didn’t have a say so.
But why Amanda didnt want to know why or what she did to get refused?
Oh wait, the publicist is yt??? I didnt know that and now that bothers me. However, any publicist might see Amanda as a guest like Tiffany hadish…too much, ahem, loud personality in the room. Amanda maybe has shown her personality in these “work” parties and left a bad taste in the mouth?
I been in this business for a long time and a publicist would not fluck with a current cast member of a show unless she knew she had sayso from the boss.

It’s apparent they don’t, 10:18. Issa had her publicist doing something that isn’t even a part of a publicist’s job description. Her job is writing her correspondence via email, social media and what not for her and making sure she has a positive image. That’s how I know she is full of sh@t trying to put all the blame on her. She used a white woman to turn her away instead of handling the situation like a woman and speaking directly to Amanda. She just doesn’t want public backlash for being an @sshole and likes the fact that Amanda gets railroaded for speaking out on topics people don’t agree with her on.

I have never liked Amanda but when she's right, she's right.
Issa went to Stanford. She throws rocks and hides her hands. Last season of InSecure sucked anyway.
Haven’t watched Rap Shit or any other of her projects.
