Rapper Eve sells the publishing rights to her catalogue of music...
Olivier Chastan’s acquisition vehicle Iconoclast has revealed its latest music rights deal.
According to a press release issued by the company today (September 25), it has acquired the “publishing rights to the catalog of double platinum-selling and Grammy Award-winning hip hop artist Eve”.
Sources tell MBW that the transaction was an eight-figure deal, in the ballpark of between $25 million and $50 million.
Described by Iconoclast as a “trailblazer” in the music industry, Eve first gained recognition in the late 1990s with her debut album Let There Be Eve…Ruff Ryders’ First Lady, which made her the third female rapper in history to reach No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

That was a good move. Her music is dated. I don't know if she made that much off her records sells alone since musicians make money from tour dates.
Here comes the commercials using her music
Eve's music is far from dated. I still bump her to his day because she's an actual lyricist who doesn't only rap about how good her cat and head is. Love is Blind, I Got a Man, Tambourine, Let Me Blow Your Mind and a whole lot more are all classics. Her catalogue is beyond dope and she's evolved in every way except for that wig.

It's definitely dated and you are delusional.

25-50m is the ESTIMATED range Goofy....
Anyone doubting or hating on the news that Eve just closed this huge deal is in fact, hating. It would take two seconds to research this information and see Iconoclast confirm this deal. Go get you some business and the next time you see this type of great news, it wouldn't sting so badly.
@ 2:21 PM...Which is 25-50M times more than what your goofy azz got. Go sulk in a corner.
Ain't no body hating. Read my comment pls. The first sentence says, 'GOOD MOVE'. If you want to bump her old songs good for you. But that music is not valuable in today's market unless it's in a ghetto movie or commercial jingle.
Now have a seat on some thorns and hush you Dagon mouth pls. Simps all over the net.

Please STFU. You don't know where it'll be used and it was valuable enough for someone to pay her 8 stacks so your logic is beyond dumb.
